We are in an area where the influence of the sea, its winds and salt water play a large part in the growth and maturation of the grapes and their transformation into wine.
The high temperature variations between day and night, the protection against the hot southern winds, the clayey soils with calcareous and sandy components and a microclimate mitigated by sea breezes make these places the ideal habitat for growing luxuriant and healthy grapes with minimal interventions in the vineyard.
Our vineyards feature the main Sardinian vines such as Cannonau di Sardegna, Vermentino di Sardegna, Cagnulari and Moscato di Sorso from which we produce single varietal wines, DOC wines and IGT Romangia wines.
The vineyards are espalier trained with Guyot or spurred cordon pruning. The harvest takes place manually, from August/September to October of each year, with the grapes collected in small boxes which are then processed in the nearby winery within a few hours.
This allows us to respect the raw ingredient, which arrives intact and fresh for vinification to be processed with the most modern technologies available.
